Hi, I’m Barry

After joining a West Auckland dental practice in 2003, I partnered with the senior dentists to perform a management buy-out and took on the role of practice manager. From there we grew to five practices across Auckland with a focus on quality, caring dentistry.

Through running this group of practices, we learned many lessons about practice efficiency, marketing, staff training, and most of all – how to measure success. Since leaving the group in 2018, I have been working with a select few dental practices to assist with maximising THEIR success. Dental Insight now provides monthly KPI dashboards to dental practices across Auckland.

I was raised in West Auckland and now call Bethell’s Beach (Te Henga) home. In my spare time you can find me in the woodshop, at the beach, or spending time with my wife Hana and my three (!) teenage girls.
